Tejano legend Jessy Serrata passed away on August 4 , reportedly of kidney cancer, and Tejano stars reacted to the news of his death via social media.
Serrata was 63 years old. He was known to many as “Mr. Iron Throat”, his career spanned more than five decades and he was inducted into the Texas Conjunto Hall of Fame in June.
Tejano superstars including Shelly Lares, Gary Hobbs, Sunny Sauceda, Stephanie Lynn and more reacted to the news of Serrata’s passing via social media.
