Michael Salgado paid tribute to Emilio Navaira during a performance in Austin, just days after Emilio’s passing. Salgado bid farewell to his friend while performing Navaira’s classic hit “Juntos” at the OK Corral on May 20, 2016.
Navaira passed away on May 16, 2016 at his home in New Braunfels, Texas, of natural causes, according to the final investigation from the New Braunfels Police Department.
