Tejano Highway 281 have released their latest track, “Me Voy,” a comeback single for former Grupo Rodeo vocalist Roel Martinez.
The collaboration of Martinez’s classic powerful vocals along with the producing and arranging of Chris Rodriguez, is the perfect chart topping mix for Tejano Highway 281 and Tejano PowerHouse Records.
“It’s a little different,” Rodriguez told Tejano Nation about the latest single. “The whole point behind this song was I didn’t want an instrument lead in the beginning, I wanted a vocal lead, like back in the day when the doo-wop was happening.”
“Me Voy” was written by Ruben Garza and is the lead single from Tejano Highway 281’s much anticipated new album, scheduled for release in late April or early May.
