Destiny Navaira shares teaser video for “La Navidad”

Destiny Navaira shared a teaser video for her holiday tune “La Navidad” on Monday.  The 2016 Tejano Music Awards winner for Best New Female artist and Best New Group with Remedio posted the clip on her Facebook page.

“The Christmas season is one of my favorite times of the year; however, this year will be quite different,” Navaira posted with the clip. “Here is a sneak peek of a song I will be releasing for the holidays! This one is dedicated to my entire family and all my fans missing a loved one this Christmas.”

Navaira’s uncle, Emilio Navaira, passed away earlier this year in May. The 53-year-old Tejano and Country musician died due to natural causes, specifically cardiovascular disease.

The full version of “La Navidad” is expected to be released this week.
