Di Marie has released “La Culpable,” the first single from her upcoming sophomore album.
“The song is about being with someone that doesn’t know how to truly love you and always blames you for everything in the relationship,” Di Marie told Tejano Nation. “Forgiving after so much and always being the one to say I’m sorry and still not ever being good enough. Well, tables turn and she finally realizes there is more to life than just that person and in the end she says enough is enough! I know lots of men and women will be able to relate to the song.”
“La Culpable” was written by Di Marie, produced by David Garza and features musicians Guillermo Rodriguez and Eddie Perez.
“I love writing because I think it captures so much feeling and emotion,” Di Marie added. “I feel blessed to be able to put my thoughts and feelings into melodies and lyrics. Muchos abrazos a todos and hope everyone loves it!”
Di Marie, who was nominated for Best New Female Artist at the 2015 Tejano Music Awards for her debut album Todo De Mi,will release her sophomore album in late August or early September and will be available at your favorite online digital retailer.
