Tortilla Factory, Marcos Orozco, David Farias to headline Austin’s free 2016 Hillside Summer Concert Series

AUSTIN – The 2016 line-up for the free A.B. Cantu Pan-American Recreation Center’s Hillside Summer Concert Series has been announced.

Austin’s own Tortilla Factory, Jonny Martinez, David Farias, Marcos Orozco and Canonazo are just a few of the artists scheduled to be a part of the annual Hillside concert series this summer.  The shows are free and family friendly.

“The City of Austin A.B. Cantu Pan-Am Recreation Center has provided a place where the people of the community could come together to learn, play and belong,” the A.B Cantu Pan-American Recreation Center Community Advisory Board posted on their official Facebook page. “As members of the Pan-Am Avisory Board we value our recreation center as a way to serve families, strengthen community and make this area a better place to live. We treasure the strong ties of being FAMILIA at Pan Am.”

The shows are scheduled for every Tuesday night in July from 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. at Pan Am Park, located at 2100 East 3rd Street in Austin.

The artist line-up and schedule for the concert series is below:

7/5 New Generation, Mari y Cien Grados, Canonazo

7/12 Los Texas Wranglers, Phoebe Marie, David Farias

7/19 Conjunto Cats, Jonny Martinez Y Grupo Bravo featuring Buddy Lonesome & Veronique Medrano

7/26 Marcos Orozco, Tortilla Factory
