The next auditions for the 2015 edition of Tejano Idol have been set for September 6, 2015 at Supermercado Torres in Holland, Michigan.

The Austin Tejano Music Coalition, the non-profit organization that sponsors Tejano Idol, is in search of future Tejano Music stars. The nationwide singing contest has been initiated to highlight Tejano Music and showcase unknown talent. Amateur singers of all ages are invited to audition.
Auditions begin at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 6, 2015, at Supermercado Torres, located at 12386 Felch Street in Holland, Michigan. This event is sponsored by the Tejano Society of Holland, Michigan, and will send the winner of this event to Austin for the Tejano Idol finale. For more information call 616-212-4033.
The Tejano Idol finale will take place at H&H Ballroom on October 18, 2015, in Austin at 2:00 p.m. The Tejano Idol winner will be awarded $500 as well as the opportunity to record in Freddie Records in Corpus Christi.
Past Tejano Idol contestants include 2011 winner Ashley Borrero and 2011 contestant Angel Gonzalez, both now with Angel Gonzalez y Grupo Vimana, 2012 runner-up Devin Banda, 2013 contestant Marisa Cortez and 2014 winner Erica Rangel.
